Tad Kubler is most notably known as the lead guitarist and songwriter for The Hold Steady and for his bands Lifter Puller and Song of Zarathustra. While he is without a doubt a Rock Star, selling out 10,000 seaters across the country, his everyday commitment to writing a great piece of music- every time- is unparalleled.
This will be heard in his new duo venture with Steve Selvidge called Pirate Heart.
Tad's writing ability stretches far beyond the classic rock song, though. From cinematic to ambient movie scores, and solo piano pieces, Tad has a gift for working to picture. One can only guess that stems from his love of photography and film making. Tad is currently editing a book of pictures from the road, and is filming a series of short films. (Oh and, making a new record with The Hold Steady!!)
